Easter in Independence

Today we decided to take part in “Easter in Independence”, a gigantic Easter egg hunt sponsored by a local church. They had over 100,000 eggs for kids to find! They also had a couple of bouncy houses and other games for the kiddos while they waited for their egg hunts to start. They divided the hunts by age, so that 0-3 year olds went first, followed by 4-5 year olds in a seperate section of the football field, and of course the age ranges went up from there. We met Tori and her kiddos at the hunt and we all had a great time – it was a gorgeous day, and while it was a little crowded, we didn’t feel pushed around and everything was very well-organized. We look forward to participating again next year!
