Kennison is two!

Birthday girl!Today was spent celebrating our beautiful daughter’s 2nd birthday. She is growing up so fast! We had a wonderful day with friends and family, and Kennison did really well – even though she didn’t get a nap at all. She was very gracious (for the most part) in regards to thanking everyone for their gifts and sharing her toys with Braden (her 15 month old cousin). She was very cute (of course!) in her party dress and well-mannered. She had a great time, and we are thankful that so many people love our little girl so much!

We kennison-021-1.jpgdecided Kennison’s party was a great time to take a picture of the generations of Friedrich men. Fred posed with his sons Mark and Kenny, who were holding their sons Braden and Colton (respectively).

We then took a picture of Mark, Kenny, and Mike with all of the kiddos – Braden, Kennison and Colton, and Jack. We are all very busy with our children, and put them all together… let’s just say there’s never a dull moment!

When almost everyone had left, Tori decided to video Kennison and me singing. Kennison’s current favorites include “The Itsy-Bitsy Spider” and “The Wheels on the Bus”. She also enjoys “Skinnamarink”. This 1st video is me singing, “Skinnamarink” with Kennison, but she kept getting distracted.

This video is of “The Itsy-Bitsy Spider” – let me tell you, if you want to feel good about your singing, just sing this little ditty for Kennison. You’ll see what I mean. And, you’ll also have to watch the start of “The Wheels on the Bus” because I don’t know how to edit my videos yet. We started the song, and then Kennison decided she didn’t want to sing – and she throws her little tantrum. Enjoy!

kennison-033-1.jpgAfter everyone left, we decided it would be fun to take a walk. But, by the time we got out the door with all the kiddos (Mike and Tori were still here with Jack), it was pretty cold outside, so we barely made it up the street before turning around. Oh, well!

First of all, where are the videos? Secondly, we could have written our blogs together tonight! They say the same thing, almost verbatim! I’ll put together a CD of all the pics I took of Kennison today for you- they came out great!
